Why do I recommend to drink Chamomile tea to my patients?


Chamomile tea is an excellent after-dinner, pre-bedtime caffeine-free drink, which you can use for a long time.


Drinking chamomile tea regularly can:


  • reduce stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression,

  • promote sleep and reduce insomnia,

  • help to relax blood vessels and arteries and maintain healthy blood pressure level,

  •  lowering cholesterol, including triglycerides and "bad" LDL cholesterol,

  •  maintaining lower blood sugar, as part of a balanced diet benefiting people with diabetes,

  •  reduce risk of gastrointestinal pain, because it is a great anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic drink,

  •  reduce menstrual cramping.


Kindly note, that, like any plant, chamomile can cause rare allergic reactions in some people, and not enough studies have been done on its long-term safety for doctors to recommend drinking it during pregnancy.
