Why do I recommend to drink Chamomile tea to my patients?

Chamomile tea is an excellent after-dinner, pre-bedtime caffeine-free drink, which you can use for a long time.
Drinking chamomile tea regularly can:
reduce stress, anxiety and symptoms of depression,
promote sleep and reduce insomnia,
help to relax blood vessels and arteries and maintain healthy blood pressure level,
lowering cholesterol, including triglycerides and "bad" LDL cholesterol,
maintaining lower blood sugar, as part of a balanced diet benefiting people with diabetes,
reduce risk of gastrointestinal pain, because it is a great anti-inflammatory and anti-spasmodic drink,
reduce menstrual cramping.
Kindly note, that, like any plant, chamomile can cause rare allergic reactions in some people, and not enough studies have been done on its long-term safety for doctors to recommend drinking it during pregnancy.
