(Immunotherapy) with OPDIVO (nivolumab)

At our Oncology office you can get immunotherapy with an original medicine Opdivo (nivolumab).

This is a modern medicine approved for treatment of MELANOMA, non-small cell LUNG CANCER, Hodgkin lymphoma, LIVER CANCER and other cancers.

It can be used alone or in combination with other medications.

 It is registered in Cambodia.

Advantages of nivolumab:

• The medicine is stimulation immune system to fight against cancer cells, because it blocks PD-1-protein and it's ligands (PD-L1 and PD-L2). PD-1 hides the tumor from immune system. When we will block PD-1, we will help immune system to find malignant cells and kill them .

• Opdivo is effective in advanced stages of cancer (III-IV) and can significantly increase the chances of survival, superior to classical chemotherapy.

• The medicine has a long lasting effect.

•  Nivolumab has proven it's effectiveness in many clinical studies around the world.
